Beta Sigma Phi Cyber Council Standing Rules


Meetings
The BSP Cyber Council will start the monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of  the following months August, November, February and May at 7 PM CST and last through the second Wednesday at 10 PM, unless the President finds it necessary to extend the meeting.

Members

It is suggested that sisters belong to only one on-line chapter. If a sister chooses to belong to more than one on-line chapter, she may only be a representative to Cyber Council for one chapter at a time.

Web Site
The web site shall contain:

  1. Names of officers, displayed as each officer wishes, with a brief description of the duties
  2. Links to all on line chapters with general information such as whether they are accepting new members
  3. Email link to council Correspondent Committee
  4. Other general information such as the purpose, bylaws (and standing rules when they are written and/or approved), and a schedule of meetings.

Membership Rosters
Membership rosters will be provided by email if the on line chapter wishes.

These rosters would be kept by the Cyber Council Executive Board, and not placed on line in any way (other than email transmission), specifically that they would never appear on any web site nor be included in the egroups Cyber Council archive area. The roster should contain: name, on line chapter, email address, home city and province/state/country.

Procedure for Representatives being added to Cyber Council email list

1-That outgoing representatives email the List Moderator and her back-up, the web site Moderator [the Correspondent Committee], to their personal email addresses informing them of their name,
email address that they are subscribed to the list with and their chapter and if they know who will be replacing them that they provide the same information for the incoming representative at that time.

2-That no one remove themselves from the list or request to be added to the list by use of the site features; all removals and additions are to be done by a member of the Correspondent Committee.
3-That anyone announcing a new representative for their chapter email the List Moderator and her back-up, the web site Moderator [the Correspondent Committee], to their personal email addresses informing them of the new representative's name, email address that they are to be subscribed to the list with and their chapter.
