On Line Epsilon

OLE does not have regular scheduled meetings each month, but we do try to have at least one Program a month as well as a dialog we call "conversation". These two question and answer type sessions each month provide us with enlightenment about each other and often spur other chatter among our members. Lately, our topics seem to focus around Fall which I supose is natural. Topics have included Halloween, Octoberfest, Fall Favorites, Breast Cancer Awareness, & the Nuttiest Thing You Ever Did in Hot or Cold Weather. Our programs this year have been based on a theme of rememberance in this our anniversary year and we had wonderful discussions about the changes in BSP since we each joined which included dress code, rushing, programs, etc. over the years. Sure brought back lots of memories for some of us old folks. Our Executive Board has finished updating our bylaws & standing rules and we are now working on job responsibilities/descriptions. We have paid our dues for the year and balanced our books. All in all we seem to have tidied everything up just in time to approach the holiday madness.

On Line Sigma

Here it is almost time to be eating turkey and dressing when just a short while ago it was September and On-Line Sigma was having a virtual social in Centralia, PA. Our Program for the month was "Seasonal & Holiday Crafts". Members shared their home decorations for the seasons and we all got a pattern for an easy wreath. We celebrated a first in September with 100% attendance signed in to our attendance form. We are going to try to do that every month now! It was great to have everyone participating.

Our social for October was "Fun with Halloween" where we visited several fun and spooooooky sites. The October Program was sharing our memories about fall, food, pumpkins and family traditions. We had a guest at our meeting who was making up a meeting. We were pleased to have her and pleased to be able to now do that. We are sending copies of our On-Line Sigma minutes to Laura since we are now an official on-line chapter. We also sent Laura a roster of On-Line Sigma member numbers which also showed our "members-at-large" who are no longer "at large".

Happy Holidays to everyone and lots of Beta ((Hugs)) to all.
