Sharing Reports - March/April - 2016
• We have added 2 new members and are super excited about our newest additions. We had a visitor from a land chapter come and make up a meeting with us. She likes us well enough that she may even stay a while.
Stella wants all sisters in Florida and outside Florida to attend this year's Florida convention. She is helping with it and is so excited!!! All Eta sisters wish everyone a Happy Spring, St. Patty's and Easter. March is one busy month with spring break and all. For most, there was no winter. HAPPY SPRING ALL!!!

Your Sister In OLD,

Joanie, President, enjoyed a wonderful February meeting: Our member Billie receive her Exemplar Ritual. How wonderful! Billie also had exciting news for us: she is expecting a baby in April! (her due date is my husband Bruce's birthday- April 24. How sweet is that?!)
We "met" at a Gatsby Era Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York for a Valentine's Day Ball. It was a most elegant evening. Taylor Swift even visited (virtually-she has been there, however) and sang for us that evening. Our Valentine's Day Queen Carrie Ackerman was crowned.
In January we added two new members. However, we did loose one member. We now have 8 members in Online Upsilon. Wendy did host a rush in September, and the new members were added as a result of the rush.
In December we had a Holiday Party and enjoyed sharing some delicious recipes!
We started a Beta Booker Club (book club) however we do not have any one interested in becoming the chairman.
Carrie has been doing a reading from the Beta Sigma Phi Handbook. She does this in the beginning of our meetings.
Respectfully submitted,
Joanie
• Good Saturday afternoon sisters!
Online Kappa has been busy with our socials and programs: most recently we had a Mardi Gras celebration complete with beads, food and fun! We have learned about different cultural traditions for bringing in the new year as well.
We have two new members ( these ladies had visited our chapter at my last report), we welcome Mimi and Jes. We crowned our chapter sweetheart - Beth who keeps up with all our chatter while she deals with some difficult health matters. We voted our support to the multiple sclerosis society as our chapter project which is very close to all of us as one of our sisters, Peggy deals with it. We have a couple members with health concerns including a sister receiving treatment for cancer.
We also have two sisters who are expecting new additions to their families soon!
Our chapter has been working on keeping all sisters involved with chapter chatter and updates by having a question posed by one member to get some of our more quiet sisters talking more- I would say it has been successful thus far, I hope it continues to keep us in touch.
From our chapter to each of you, happy March!
Respectfully submitted,
Mary
