STUDY GUIDE FOR DEGREES AND REQUIREMENTS

Degrees and Requirements . . .

The degrees of Beta Sigma Phi are arranged to provide logical progression for YOU the member as you grow in knowledge of the organization and in chapter cultural experience.

Nu Phi Mu and Ritual of Jewels degree members may order programs from Programs a la Carte (March issue of THE TORCH). Exemplar degree members may select from Programs a la Carte 5 of the 6 years they are Exemplars, creating their own original program the 6th year. Preceptor degree members may select from 100 subjects in ten general categories to plan and vary their cultural programs. Laureate and Master degree members prepare original programs in the same way that Preceptor programs are developed.

When members qualify for each degree, they progress forward to the next highest degree for which they have become eligible. They PROGRESS.

The most important factors of Progression:

  • If you progress into an existing chapter of the next highest degree, it will result in an ever expanding circle of Friendship.
  • If you elect to remain in a lower degree chapter, you are encouraged to receive the higher degree for which you have become eligible and continue your individual growth through cultural programs and chapter participation.
