Pledge Training Manual - Chapter 3 - STUDY GUIDE FOR COMMITTEES

Committees . . .

There are 4 steps of committee planning & action. The committee:

INVESTIGATES
PLANS
REPORTS
ACTS
An understanding of each step by every member in the chapter will provide a smooth, organized, shorter & more enjoyable business meeting. More time can be spent on your programs & socializing! It is important for members to know that the chapter should not hold long discussion about details - DURING THE MEETING. DETAIL IS TAKEN CARE OF IN COMMITTEE! Each committee chairman makes a brief, concise report of her committee's activities. The chapter then votes to approve or asks the committee to change any part of it so the committee can go ahead & make definite plans.
