  • leader of Friendly Venture Projects
  • selects committee of 3 or more
  • enlists assistance of chapter in developing step-by-step Friendly Venture procedure (refer to page 38 in Book of Beta Sigma Phi)

Duties of RECORDING SECRETARY:

  • takes minutes of chapter (& Executive board) meetings & transcribes them
  • minutes typed in duplicate - 1 for permanent chapter records, 1 to be sent to the International Office within 5 days of 2nd or last meeting of the month

Duties of CORRESPONDING SECRETARY

  • handles general chapter correspondence
  • sunshine, courtesy
  • keeps copies of chapter's correspondence on file
  • refer to chapter yearbook for additional duties

  • gives receipts to members
  • signs with president all checks & vouchers
  • keeps account book - reports at each meeting
  • presents her account book to the executive board for audit at the end of her term
