The Executive Board is composed of the elected officers of a chapter. It meets monthly on dates fixed by it, or on call of the president.
The Executive Board assumes full responsibility for the chapter standing, and for reporting its recommendations on all matters to be discussed and evaluated by all members of the chapter previous to their adoption.
Many business details which do not require chapter attention should be dispatched through the action of the board. It should function freely to eliminate waste of time and effort in chapter meetings and promote clearly and forcefully the chapter business, without infringing on the individual member's rights and privileges. Any decision made by the executive board may be changed by a two-thirds vote when it is presented to the chapter.
Executive Board members should thoroughly review the Book of Beta Sigma Phi and refer to it when there is a question on procedure. |
