" I was born in Abilene, Kansas in 1931. During my life I've traveled in every state in the United States, all provinces of Canada and many countries around the world. In all these many years I've acquired thousands upon thousands of friends.
" Today, in this fast-paced, technical world, I bring to my friends something peaceful, something beautiful and something precious. I bring them a sense of love and happiness and kindness.
" I display charm, poise and personality. I represent consideration, tolerance and faith. I stand for honor and truth and loyalty. I am sympathetic. I am practical. I am sentimental.
" I live each day, proudly and passionately, clutching at each precious moment as though it were the last breath of life. I live each day as it is, never looking back into yesterday nor dreaming of tomorrow. I live in the Present; making the most of the life God has given me.
