Hi, just wondering what your chapter does for Ways & Means. Our chapter is doing a quilt raffle this year. It seems like a lot of work for a few dollars. We are selling our tickets out side of BSP too, but the members don't seem to be "good salespeople". Any new, fresh ideas? |

We sold flower bulbs this year. The prices ranged from $5 -$10 and we make 50%. We take orders, collect money, and send in orders and 50% of what we collected. You can visit the website and download or order online all the materials to get started. Materials come within a week and you can do it in either the spring or fall. The money is immediately available for the chapter to use. The company name is Van Bourgondien and hers is the website http://www.dutchbulbs.com/bulbs/index.do |

Thanks for the post Sheri. This year the members decided to just pay $20 each in dues to make our budget. We have 21 members and a small budget and with our carryover we will be ok. I like the bulb idea, I will bring it up at the next meeting for thought. |

In our city a lot of the chapters make baskets with different themes and when we go to banquet twice a year we raffle them off. We have a special table set up at the back of the banquet room for ways and means and before we go home all the chapters quickly raffle off the tickets. It makes going to banquet a little pricey but every one seems to enjoy it. |
