Ideas for using the 2011-2012 Theme are:
A speech, "Our Colors of Tradition," presented by Marilyn Ross at the Washington State Convention may be just the thing to help get those ideas flowing. You may also want to review the Beta Sigma Phi Traditions Or, take a look at the 3rd Golden Thread of the Twelve, and discover our time-honored Traditions that link us to our glorious sisterhood of which consists of our most beautiful, most meaningful, most important, most significant and most special of the traditions we hold near and dear to us.
Remember, tradition is a part of the pledge training, chapter 1 - TRADITION --- the handing down of information, beliefs & customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another. These are things which bind & bond us, they are valued bonds that make working toward & facing tomorrow meaningful. They always remain something certain in a world of uncertainty. Each new pledge you bring into your fold and train, you are indeed passing down the information of our tradition(s) this year. Become a Torchbearer of Traditions this Year!
